On the 24th October our under 18’s team left the Beck and Call and walked to Featherstone Lions (Rob’s youth team).
The weather was grim but they stuck to it and on their way called to see the man himself.
The whole walk took just under 8 hours. The lads were drenched and tired but extremely pleased with themselves.
Thank you to everyone who got behind them from waving them off to sharing and donating to the go fund me page. A very big thank you to the stranger who turned up and donated £50.
Featherstone Lions were true to their word and were very hospitable with the parents and the lads were all grateful for a drink and some warmth after their walk.
So far they’ve raised just short of £3000, an amazing achievement and something they should all be very proud of
